Dr. Macrum received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. His internship and residency were carried out at the University of California, San Francisco. He subsequently completed two cardiology fellowships at the University of California, San Francisco: the first in cardiology, and the second, a two-year fellowship, in echocardiography.
Dr. Macrum is Co-Director of Non-invasive Cardiology at Good Samaritan Hospital. He is currently President of the Los Angeles Society of Echocardiography and maintains active membership with the American Society of Echocardiography.
