Dr. Pollick joined L.A. Cardiology in 1992. After receiving his medical degree from the University of Birmingham in England, he completed his postgraduate training at the Brompton Hospital, the University of Toronto, and Stanford University. He is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology, comprehensive adult echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and vascular ultrasound. He has written 50 peer-reviewed manuscripts and lectures on topics ranging from the appropriate use of echocardiography to the treatment of cardiomyopathy.
Dr. Pollick is the Medical Director of Noninvasive Cardiology at Good Samaritan Hospital. He serves on the editorial board of the Journal of the American Society of Echocardiography (of which he was a former member of the Board of Directors), and on the board of the Los Angeles Society of Echocardiography (of which he was a former president).
Dr. Pollick's hobbies include running, biking, golfing, music, and reading.
