Dr. Burstein joined Los Angeles Cardiology in 1992. His subspecialty expertise includes the advancement of percutaneous advancement of cerebrovascular disease, valvuloplasty, and adult congenital defects.
After receiving his medical degree and completing an internship in South Africa, Dr. Burstein completed his postgraduate training at the Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago. His interventional cardiology fellowship was completed at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology.
Dr. Burstein serves as Associate Director of the Cardiac Catherization Laboratories at Good Samaritan Hospital.
